REFUND POLICY

FALL REFUND POLICY 2021 COMPETITVE SOCCER PROGRAMS

Prior to August 1st: A full refund of registration fees less a $500 per player administrative fee.  Refunds are not at the discretion of the coach.

August 1st and onwards:  Pro-rated refunds will only be granted in the event of a player moving out of the area, or due to a major injury occurring during league games/practices.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  Refunds for major injuries/conditions and out of area moves, will be capped at a maximum refund of 50% of the remaining pro-rated amount. Refunds are not at the discretion of the coach.

Mid-season Registrations: Players joining midseason are eligible for a full refund of registration fees less a $250 administrative fee within the first 14 days after registration.  Requests for refunds after 14 days will not be granted.  The refund policy listed above applies with regards to major injuries/moving out of the area.

As of March 3, 2017: Any player account that charges back credit card charges that are determined to be valid fees owed to the league will be charged the $15 charge back fee per chargeback.  A cashier's check may be required to make up disputed charges determined to be valid.

CAMPS, CLINICS, AND ELEMENT PROGRAMS

Up to one week prior to start of camp (excluding residential): Full refund less a $30 per player administrative fee

 

Within one week of start of camp (excluding residential): No refunds will be given and camp participation may not be prorated

Residential camps require a 21 day cancellation notice.  With 21 or more days notice, full refund less a $50 per player administrative fee.

 

Residential camp cancellations with less than a 21 day notice, no refund will be given and camp participation may not be prorated.

PANDEMIC POLICY CANCELLATION OF LITTLE KICKERS

Program Before Start Date

 

If Almaden FC cannot run the Little Kickers recreational program due to COVID-19 restrictions at the local, state, or federal level, all registrants will receive full refunds to the credit card used to pay for registration for that program. There will be no need to request a refund in the case of a COVID-19 cancellation. We will make our decision about each individual program separately and based on guidance from our government officials--the specific timing of this will depend on the circumstances at the time. If the program is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, full refunds will be provided.

 

Pandemic Policy for In-Progress Little Kickers Recreational Program

 

In response to the Covid-19 Pandemic, should Almaden FC move, delay, or cancel the Little Kickers recreational program WHILE IN PROGRESS due to a decision, or upon the advice of a governing entity or sanctioning body, including but not limited to the state of California, County of Contra Costa, US Soccer Federation, US Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, NorCal and Cal North, we may offer refunds and/or credits for future programming. Such a determination will be made by Almaden FC, in its sole discretion and based upon the circumstances of each individual program at the time of the decision.

 

Non-Pandemic Refund Policy for Little Kickers Recreational Program

 

A full refund will be given only if a child cannot be placed on a team. Late registration fees are not refundable. 

  • Full refund until July 1 less $35.00 admin fee

  • 50% refund July 2nd- August 1st

  • No refunds after August 1st

Practices are scheduled on Saturdays. Occasionally practices/games may be canceled due to things outside of our control, including weather conditions or field closures. Reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule. However, there are no refunds available for canceled practices/games.

Non-Pandemic Refund Policy for U7-U19 Recreational Program

 

A full refund will be given only if a child cannot be placed on a team. Late registration fees are not refundable. 

  • On or after August 1st: No refunds will be given

U7-U19 recreational program practices are typically scheduled Monday-Friday sometime between 4:00pm-8:30pm (depending on age and field availability). Games will typically be on Saturdays; however, some games may be scheduled on Sundays. Occasionally practices and/or games may be canceled due to things outside of our control, including weather conditions or field closures. Reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule canceled games. However, there are no refunds available for canceled practices or games. We do not take requests for specific team placement, coach request or requests to be reassigned to another team or coach. Dissatisfaction with practice or game schedules or with team or coach assignment are not grounds to request a refund.
