Almaden Soccer was founded as a non-profit organization in 1967 and has since then continuously provided soccer opportunities for local players of all abilities. In 2007 the club added "Almaden FC" as a competitive program to provide playing opportunities for those Almaden Soccer players who desired a higher level of playing opportunity than that afforded by Almaden's long-standing recreational program.

Today Almaden Soccer continues to support the growth and holistic development for players of all abilities, providing our players with unique learning and playing opportunities within our various programs, including: recreational; juniors; competitive; and elite player programs.

Our increasing stature in youth soccer has allowed us to establish and maintain impressive regional, national and international affiliations including US Club Soccer, NorCal Premier Soccer League, Girls Academy League, California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) District II.
